What are RMDT Golden Tickets?

A few months before RMDT's Swing Into Spring Fundraiser Events, Rocky Mountain Dance Theatre sells "Golden Tickets" which work like raffle tickets. Anyone can purchase 1 or more ticket(s) for $50 or bundles of 3 tickets for $125; if winning bidder is under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an Adult 21+ for trips. RMDT will only sell 500 Golden Tickets. Tickets can only be purchased ONLINE! The winning ticket will be drawn Saturday Night during RMDT's Swing Into Spring Food & Wine Pairing Event. Individuals DO NOT need to be present to win.

All money profited goes to non-profit Rocky Mountain Dance Theatre to fund their programs & productions.

THIS YEAR ANY CURRENT RMSA Student can help raise money for nonprofit RMDT by selling Golden Tickets AND be entered into pools for prizes! These incentives are for any current RMSA Student*

  • For every 12 Golden Tickets sold you'll receive 1 entry into the top prize pool drawing.
    • ONE winner drawn will receive $800 voucher towards RMSA tuition which can be used multiple years but is not transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be cashed out if a student quits.
  • Sell 7-11 Golden Tickets: be entered into the 2nd prize pool drawing.
    • TWO winners will be drawn and will receive $100 voucher which can be used towards RMSA tuition OR RMSA Dance store merchandise.  Not transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be cashed out if a student quits.
  • Sell 1-6 Golden Tickets: be entered into the 3rd prize pool drawing.
    • THREE winners will be drawn and winners will receive $25 gift certificate towards RMSA Dance store or RMSA Yearly Piano Material Fee. Not transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be cashed out if a student quits.

*RMDT Spring Company Members can be entered into drawings based on how many tickets they sell after their required 6. IF name is drawn they can choose to have their RMDT Spring Co NY Experience 2024 trip credit or the RMSA incentive drawing prize above; cannot receive both as incentives. 

How to Sell: 

Selling Golden Tickets is super easy as everything is ONLINE and can be shared digitally with anyone across the country or world for that matter!

    • Sellers DO NOT need to collect, keep track of money OR paper tickets!!!!!
    • Golden Ticket info cards will be available to hand out to friends and family so they know how to purchase; these are NOT the actual Golden Tickets as Golden Tickets are virtual and can only be purchased online.
    • Golden Ticket purchasers DO NOT need to be present at the Swing into Spring Event to win.
  • TO GET CREDIT for selling tickets: on the online form is a place for purchasers to put RMSA Students or Sp Co members names so we know who should receive the "credit" and keep track of which pool drawing they will be entered into.
  • This year’s golden ticket raffle winner is again a winners choice between 3 different trips in the US OR $2,000 cash.
  • There is no age limit for golden ticket purchasers (note a few guidelines for minors who may win)
  • People can purchase as many tickets as they like: one ticket is $50; 3 are $125.
    • Only 500 tickets will be sold

What is Rocky Mountain Dance Theatre & why should I support it?

Rocky Mountain Dance Theatre is RMSA's affiliated non-profit performing arts organization that offers exceptional training, unique performance experience and opportunities for not only dancers but also musical & theatre performers.

Being affiliated with RMDT offers our RMSA dance students a direct opportunity to excel in the performing arts. While younger academy students may not be old enough to participate in most of RMDT programs; RMSA dance classes are building dancers with the correct technical foundations to prepare them for the future. RMDT is a big part of the older RMSA Academies and therefore will become a big part of our younger RMSA Academy lives over the years.

SELLING TIPS-

Write your name to the back of the Golden Ticket Cards you hand out by the "Spring Co Member/RMSA Student:"   

Reuse Golden Ticket Info cards as much as possible so we don't have to print so many

Keep these Golden Ticket Info Cards handy so you have them when you see people; have some in your school back pack, in your car....

When you approach someone about purchasing a ticket and they are interested; have them purchase it right then and there! 

For your first "sell"; approach someone you are most comfortable with (please do NOT approach strangers) 

IF needed; show them how to use a QR code or get online. 

A good sales person knows what they are selling; be able to briefly explain what golden tickets are, what the money raised is going to, and that this year is a "winners choice" and what the prizes are to choose from.
