RMSA Music Classes
Preschool & Kindergarten
RMSA MUSIC offers 2 different group music classes during the school year where preschool/kindergarten age kids get a hands-on experience with instruments, song, and other basic music and piano introductions through interactions and games.
Music Class; 4/5 year olds
What:
- Students will be introduced to basic music notes and counting
- Begin to recognize instruments, instrument families, and their sounds
- Learn about rhythm, timing, and beats
- Sing, play, interact with instruments
Details:
- Preschool music class for kids ages 4 & 5.
- Birthday cut off is September 1, 2022.
- Parents are welcome to attend class (if your child isn't toilet trained, we require it)
- Parents/Guardians are invited to relax in our studio lobby while your child is in class. We do offer comfy chairs & free wifi.
- 45 minute class fall & spring sessions that meet once a week

When:
- 4 & 5 Year Old Class; Spring Session-
- WEEKLY on Thursday's at 4:15-5:00
- Classes start January 12, 2023 and end March 16, 2023

Tuition:
- $120 for full 10 week Spring Session (will prorate for late registrations)
Kindergarten Music Class; 5/6 year olds
What:
- Students will become familiar with and recognize music notes and the counts associated with them
- Begin to learn the the proper terms associated with basic music and recognize them (i.e. clef, bar, staff...)
- Learn about different music instruments, their instrument families and recognizing their unique sounds
- Hands on experience in counting, beats, rhythms with different types of instruments
- Singing fun group songs
Details:
- Kindergarten Music class is for kids ages 5 & 6.
- Birthday cut off is September 1, 2021.
- Parents/Guardians are invited to relax in our studio lobby while your child is in class. We do offer comfy chairs & free wifi.
- 45 minute class
- Fall Session Classes start week of September 13, 2021 and end Nov 15, 2021
- Spring Session classes start week of January 10, 2022 and end in March; day & time PENDING
