ABOUT KATHRYN LOWELL:
Kathryn Lowell is an actor, singer, and director from Boston, Massachusetts. She grew up on the North Shore of the state, where she developed a love of performing at an early age. Kathryn is dedicated to telling stories that examine the human condition in innovative yet accessible ways. Through her work, she strives to inspire action and positive change, cultivating a more compassionate world.
In 2020, she graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s Integrated (Musical Theatre) Conservatory in New York City. Since then, her talents have been displayed on stages and screens worldwide. From 2020 to 2023, she served as the Artistic Director of The Terezin Project, a 501-c3 nonprofit theatre company dedicated to combatting racism, antisemitism, discrimination, intolerance, and bullying through education and the arts. Her film directorial debut, Terezin: Children of the Holocaust, has had screenings in Canada, Israel, Germany, Cambodia, and more, as well as across the United States.
Kathryn first performed with Rocky Mountain Dance Theatre in their 2025 production of Wild West Spectacular (Louisa Cody). Since then, she has performed at The Cody Theatre in The Wizard of Oz (Glinda/Aunt Em), Nunsense (Sister Mary Amnesia), and has returned for her second season of Wild West Spectacular (Louisa Cody/Vocal Captain/Dance Ensemble). She served as the RMDT Assistant and Vocal Coach for the 2026 Spring Production season. Cody has become her second home, and she is overjoyed to be a part of the RMSA/RMDT family.
While living in Massachusetts, Kathryn began teaching vocal and acting lessons geared toward college audition preparation. Her students have gone on to attend Emerson College, Wagner College, Boston Conservatory, NYU Tisch, Pace University, Shenandoah University, and Manhattan School of Music. Her lessons are now open to students of any age who are looking to improve their performance skills.
Outside of the theatre, Kathryn can be found exploring the great outdoors, curling up with a book of poetry, enjoying an iced latte, or some combination of the three.
